All in a days work...

So can I just tell you how much I love my job!!! Some days I go home and want to cry! Then, other days, I go home laughing so hard that I can't stop!! You never EVER know what is going to happen next! For those of you that don't know, I work for Upper Valley Options. http://www.uvoptions.com We work with people with developmental disabilities of all ages. Today, we took a bunch of the adults bowling, and here is just a small clip of all the excitement we had!!

Isn't that the funniest thing you've ever seen in your life!?!?! If you don't agree, watch it again, because I promise, it's awesome!! It's not everyday that you watch a grown man break out into dancing...oh wait, I do see that everyday!! Maybe the reason why it's so funny to me is because if they're not dancing and being funny, then you're probably getting beat up or screamed at. Not even kidding! Yesterday I got bit really hard by a four year old. Let's just say, I've had better days. But I really am grateful for my job, and the opportunity I have to work with such special and amazing human beings!! They bring so much joy into my life, and I have never learned so much in my life as I have learned from them. So, eventhough some days can be very difficult, it just makes the good days feel that much sweeter!!

Holiday season

So, Christmas was a little crazy this year. I was at my parents house, and Tyler and his family was supposed to come, but they were snowed in. They couldn't even get out of their driveway. So it was just me and Mom and Dad this year. I wanted to go to New Mexico for Christmas but the weather just wouldn't permit it. We got slammed with a lot of big storms. These pictures are some time during the Christmas break, but not actually on Christmas itself. Eventhough Christmas was quiet this year, it was good to relax and be able to sleep in until 9am on Christmas day!! I think of it as a triumph if I can sleep in on Christmas without being woken up! This picture is me with Audrey and Jennie.

Again me with Audrey and Jennie.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!! I had one of the best New Year Eves I have had in a long time! Me and one of my best friends in the whole world Kyra, went to the student union building at ISU for New Years eve. We decided to play pool for a little while and ended up playing it for over two hours!! I'm not even sure why! My friend Kristi from Rexburg ended up being there as well and some other friends showed up. It was a lot of fun! And just so you know, I'm REALLY good at pool!!! Yeah...ummm....not really! We were horrible!!! I think that's why it was so fun! Afterwards, Kyra and I hit another party just before midnight. They gave us noise makers, and I think they regretted it soon after! After the clock struck midnight, we all cheared, then everyone was really quiet and just sat there. Well, everyone except for me and Kyra! We were having just a little too much fun with those noise makers!! Everyone was wondering what we had to drink that night, but don't worry, all we had was water!!! Here's Kyra and I celebrating long after midnight!

My noise maker was breaking! It kept going up or sideways instead of straight out like it's suppossed to!

Not sure what I'm doing there! Probably on one of my laughing kicks!

So, to everyone, I hope you had a great Christmas season and a happy New Year!!! I hope this new year finds you all happy, healthy, and well! Love ya'll!

Weekend of happiness!!

So, I finished up school on friday. Yay for finals being done!!! Then, Saturday we had to be out of our apt., so my roommate Erin and I stayed the weekend at our friends place; Ako, Sarah, and Aimee. We had a good time! First off, this is me, Erin, and Alison watching a movie.

While we were watching the movie, we decided to braid Ako and Erin's hair. This was at around 1am when they finally took all of the braids out. It was pretty funny!!

We got hungry for something sweet so this is us attempting to make stuffed french toast. They ended up being dounut things with filling. They were pretty good though!

Erin and me hard at work as always!!

Here's our creations. They were interesting, but a lot of fun!
Aimee, Erin, and me just hanging out waiting for the dounut things to cook!
Here we all are!! What a good looking bunch we are!!! Aimee, Erin, Sarah, Ako, and me!
We also had Christmas while Erin and I were there. I got a whole lotta cheese!!! Yes, cheese!! As my roommates and close friends and family may know I have this thing for cheese! I pretty much love it!!! So they gave me all different kinds, with crackers to go with it!

Me eating my cheese while everyone else was opening their presents! I was hungry, and it was right in front of me! Couldn't help it!!! Mmm...good!

Now I'm trying another kind of cheese, but I can't get it opened. They made it child proof!!

Here are my twins!!! And yes, they are my twins!! My twin nieces, but I can still call them mine! Aren't they stinking cute! This is on their blessing day sunday. They are happy right now...

Now they are getting a little restless, but still content. And still as adorable as ever!!

Now they are MAD!!! Too many pictures!! But it's funny how cute they are even when they are crying their eyes out! I wished I was that cute when I cry!! I love my twins!! By the way, their names are Hannah and Sadee....and yes, I am their favorite aunt!!!!

This is Audrey thinking she's a big girl wearing Grandpa's cowboy boots!
So besides that, nothing else very exciting except for the fact that I only have two more days of finals besides today!!!! YAY!!! I'm so ready to be done for the semester! Happy day!!

Happy birthday Josh!!

Meet Josh!

Today is Josh's birthday!! He is 14 years old! Can you believe it?! 14!! He is the oldest of my nieces and nephews. I love you Josh and I really hope you have a GREAT day!!!
I think he's officially taller than me. Ouch!! That hurts a little...but I am short, so it can't hurt too much.
I can't wear his shoes anymore. That's a sad day!! Guess I'll just have to wear Sariah's shoes when I go visit! :)

There we are!! I love being an aunt! I love everything about it! Especially now that they are older. We're not just related, we best friends!! I love you guys and I miss you a lot!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!

Thanksgiving break

This is me and my roommate Erin! I'm not sure when it was taken but I really like it, and just wanted to share it. We are very attractive!!

So, I went home for Thanksgiving break. It was a week long. Yes, a week!! In Bancroft! I know!! I survived thoug...so don't worry. My roommate Adrianna came with me for a few days before leaving to go be with family in Preston. But while we were there, Adrianna and my brother Tyler started this rivalry, and well....below are the results. Tyler ended up squirting shaving cream all over her. I have to admit, it was pretty funny!!
Most of it got on the back of her head. Mousse? Sure!
Me and the twins!! Our first picture of all three of us! They are so stinking cute! It's really weird getting used to having two of them. I know it sounds weird, but it really is weird! Don't they usually only come one at a time...seriously!! Their names are Hannah and Sadee. I love them!!!
Jennie and Audrey are getting so big!! They are adorable as well. I was babysitting them for a little while during the break. Jennie is now 3 and Audrey just turned 2. And just think...they have twin sisters! I'm just glad that they are my neices!! I don't know what I would do with four girls 3 and under!! I really don't know how Kim does it!

Hippy van!

So at the beginning of the semester, my roommate and I found a hippy van. It was pretty cool, and we even ended up getting a ride in it. Ok, so it helped that I ended up knowing the van owners cousin, but still...pretty cool!! We had a good time, and that's all that really matters, right!
